Brick settling in Marietta, GA

Have you noticed that your bricks have settled or even pulled away from the corner of your house causing a crack to appear. One common area that we have noticed settling occurring is where the brick wraps around the corner of the house and over a roof- usually a garage. Notice the picture below, the whole corner of the house started to lean away causing a gap of over 1.25 inches.

With a finely developed system, we can move the entire brick wall over and back into place. Only a hairline crack is left and there is no need for any new mortar that will always stand out. Once the bricks have been moved, a new support system is installed, insuring that this problem never happens again.

Check out the results over on the right- the crack is gone completely!

As one of North Georgia’s most skilled refinishing teams, we have the products and the know-how to transform your old wood flood into looking like a brand new one.

After all of the old finish is sanded down and the floor is smooth, we use an ultra fine sandpaper to bring the wood to a very smooth finish. Then using an old fashion tack-cloth we remove all of the dust by hand to ensure a top quality finish. Next we will hand brush the layers of aluminum-oxide enhanced polyurethane onto the wood to eliminate any bubbles that would normally appear using other application methods.

By sticking to an old, tried and true technique, I am sure you will be completely satisfied with any wood floor that is refinished by Babcock Residential Group, LLC.

Blue Ridge, Georgia…

Multiple broken water pipes resulted in unsightly damage to a basement laundry room. As you can see in the photo, sections of drywall, insulation and carpet were removed, exposing the studs and the old vinyl floor.

Once the new drywall was installed, finished and painted, the ceramic tile floor was installed. Finishing with the painted base boards. With complete satisfaction from our customers we transformed their old laundry into a beautiful new room.

Log Home Chinking in North GA- Gilmer, Fannin, Pickens, Towns, Union, and Lumpkin Counties

Babcock Residential is your complete Log Home maintenance company here in the North Georgia Mountains. I just completed a chinking restoration project near the Cartecay river, in Ellijay, Georgia. As you can see in the pictures, there were some very large cracks in the cement chinking that have appeared.

After all cracks were filled with a white portland cement, I personally applied a slurry mixture of the same cement over the entire structure to ensure a new and uniform look.
