We have just completed a Natural Red Oak flooring installation in Marietta, GA, East Cobb to be exact.  Using an unfinished flooring we were able to match up to the existing oak flooring to make the entire floor match and flow continuously throughout the home.

Installed by licensed contractors, you can be ensured a quality job in a very timely manor.  Useing many bundles of wood (pictured right), we are able to get a very natural and random pattern to ensure an even look for the entire floor.

We have very competitive rates starting at just $2.00 per square foot installed.

Earth Friendly, Green Renovation

March 7th, 2010 by babcock 5 comments »

BRG has just completed a totally green renovation in the Woodstock, Georgia area.  We removed the existing Single Pane windows and replaced them with high performance, tax credit qualifying replacement units.  The energy saved is good for both the wallet and the environment.

We then reclaimed the old windows to be recycled into another project- greenhouse, sun room, solarium, etc..  Single pane glass is a perfect choice for those applications, letting in the most amount of the suns long wave energy.

Zero VOC paint was also used for all interior trim work, keeping the indoor air quality at its cleanest level.

This was a job where you can feel satisfied that you did your part to take care of the Earth.

Window Replacement/ Tax Credit Qualified

Babcock Residential Group can now provide and install highly energy efficient replacement windows across North Georgia, including Ellijay, Canton, Jasper, and Woodstock for as low as $250 per unit.

These windows from Moss Supply Co. are a high quality, vinyl double or single hung unit.  They meet the requirements for the Federal Tax Credit for energy efficient home improvements- 30% of materials up to $1500.

The windows are maintenance free, never requiring any paint, and come with matching screens.  They reach the stringent guidelines for the tax credit with a U-Factor of 0.3 with a Low-E film and Argon gas between the panes.

Read some of what Moss Suppy says on there website:

Duralite spacers provide your Ashland Series 4400 with third party tested performance that will save you over up to $205 a year [based on 16 windows] in heat and cooling cost compared to high performance windows using metal spacers. Not only will the energy savings  go into your pocket, but you will have less impact on our world.

Duralite reduces the average house’s contribution of CO2 production by almost up to 1600 lbs. (730 Kg). Calculations based on RESFEN 5.0 modeling used in “Calculations for Energy Savings used in Envirosealed Windows™ presentations” September 2007.

In short, if every home in America had Duralite Warm Edge Spacer we could save the environment over 58 million tons of CO2 pollution.

Let BRG come out today for a free, no obligation quote, before the tax credit expires by the end of this year.
